Toshiba… Orz
Aug 27th, 2008 by 月魂‧蝶舞
Yeah, I know, I’ve been writing about Toshiba lately a lot but it all because of their horrible customer service. and there you go, another post about them.
I just got my laptop back, again. Mom received the package for me while I’m still working and I really hope they do fix the problem I sent it for. But (yeah, there is always a BUT for that kinda thing) when I opened the lid for laptop, something fallen off. My F3 key is fallen off from the keyboard!!!! I understand why they get that key off (something wrong with waking it up from sleeping mode) and all I want is try to put that back.
Of course, if the story just ended here, why am I here writing this post?? With that fallen key, I tried, didn’t try really hard ’cause I don’t want to break it, and fail to put it back. So what’s next? The horrible customer service AGAIN. Everything is the same, long boring recording choice list, sloppy people from India…. etc etc And I totally don’t understand, what’s the relationship between the OS on the laptop and fallen key? Does it mean if I run this on XP, the key won’t fallen off? WTF??
And just as I expect, that lousy customer service said all kinda excuses like he’s not the tech people (WTH, I thought I chose the “connect to trained technician” choice???), he’s not next to me and could not see the physical situation of my laptop (another WTH, I thought all Toshiba M305-S4819 look the same???), and so on. I’m tired about those junks that I just asked to transfer me to someone who can solve my problem. Then, here is the best part. He then said “if you want, I can send you a free box for…” Smart as you, you know what’s next, right? He is asking me to SENT IT BACK just because a KEY FALLEN OFF!!!!
Man, all I want is just tell me how to put that fucking key back to the keyboard, is that hard????
so anyway, I gave up with that I-don’t-know-what-can-say customer service and murmured something then hung up the phone. With the partial engineering brain and anger, I disassembled the key, brought out several tools (of course it was ugly), pressed it with all the strength I have (yeah, pretty violent, and I don’t care if I will break it — since they said I can send it back, duh~), and finally put the key back. whatever, I really wanna say, 偉哉,Toshiba!
just to let u know….
